I bought a children’s wool mattress for my daughters first bed a few years ago. I was so impressed I recently bought one for my son’s first bed too. He seems so cozy in his new big boy’s bed and I’ve had no complaints from him. There’s no harsh chemical smell and the mattress has worn well so far despite some extra wear and tear from
Mummy and daddy snuggling up at story time.
My 7 year old loves this mattress, as it's soft and therefore warm. I love it as I know there's nothing horrible lurking in the material that could do him harm.
The ONLY downside was it had a strong smell (not chemically) for a while, so I had to wait a week as he refused to sleep on it! Totally gone now though.
I accidentally bought the wrong single size, so please check carefully. The company organised for it to be swapped over quickly, but it was an expensive mistake.
My family is extremely happy with our children's mattresses that we bought. They are very comfortable - the kids are sleeping great (ages 3 & 7), and we have peace of mind that they're safe and not full of fire retardant chemicals.
Thank you for your comments. As this is a pocket sprung Children's Mattress it is the correct support level for a growing child. As there is no coir or rigid materials in the mattress it is more flexible. This will not compromise its comfort or durability.
We love it
We love our mattresses. I have one for a 6 and a 4 yr old. The Shepy smell is strong for a day and then Just a tiny bit after 3 weeks. It is so comfortable to sleep on as an adult! Very happy with them.
