“This mattress is absolutely fantastic! It is so comfortable - both supportive and cosy. I just wish we had bought one sooner! ”
Handcrafted in our Devon workshop the Topsham organic Pillow Top Mattress uses our unique organic cotton and wool, British milled quilted Cottonsafe® fabric. The 3200 individually pocketed springs are sumptuously nestled in layers of cotton, organic wool and silk.
These wonderful natural fibres work harmoniously to regulate body temperature whilst the silk is both sublimely soft and resistant to mould and mildew. Both are hypoallergenic making it a great choice for people with allergies.
Pillow top mattresses are very popular with people who like a softer feel and like to sink into the surface and have the mattress contour to their shape. The huge spring count will mean not only divine comfort and maximum support, but you are far less likely to feel the movement of a partner or fidgety pet!
Ever wondered what it would be like to sleep on a cloud? No, me neither but if you have or you are now, I think the Topsham might just be the closest thing.
Like all of our mattresses the Topsham bed mattress is completely free from chemicals including Fire retardants and spray adhesives. Our products pass the strict UK fire regulations using our patented Cottonsafe® fabric.

Materials
Wool
Our organic wool is sourced locally from British farms, it provides outstanding temperature control and is naturally hypoallergenic which makes it the obvious choice for a natural sleep environment.
Silk
One of the oldest fibres known to man, silk has had a reputation as a luxurious and sensuous material that is associated with wealth and success. But this luxurious product is inhospitable to micro-organisms, it has all the moisture wicking qualities of wool and is also known for being the strongest natural fibre, making it the ideal fibre for your hypoallergenic sleeping environment.
Cotton
Soft and breathable, cotton is the world’s most widely used fibre. Naturally hypoallergenic and temperature regulating the cotton used in our clever Cottonsafe® covers is organic and the cotton fibre within the mattress fillings is pesticide free, making it safe and sustainable.
Pocket Springs
3200 Individually nested pocket springs offer a more traditional sleep comfort.

Product Care
The Topsham mattresses is a non-turn mattress, it requires regular rotating but you never need to flip it.
It is not uncommon for a small amount of dipping to appear in your mattress or topper where the natural fibres have been compressed . We recommend you rotate your new Topsham mattress weekly for the first 4 – 6 months to allow the fillings to settle evenly across the top surface.
