“It was love at first sleep. It felt like we had gone to heaven but no it was just a dream because we had actually slept”
The Exeter bed mattress, is our softest mattress. Think Luxury boutique hotel stay, that’s where the Exeter comes into its own.
The Exeter bed mattress is the softest in our range, using lashings of hand-teased British organic wool and layers of super soft needled organic British wool, lets you sink into it’s pillowy surface before you feel the support given by the 3200 individual pocket springs found right in the middle. Just to add to the luxury we’ve also added a sumptuous layer of nomadic Cashmere fibres, as well as being particularly lavish, cashmere is prized for its natural spring, breathability and durability, highly adaptable to temperature, this clever fibre has insulating properties which change with the relative humidity in the air. In the winter it will keep you warm and insulated, yet it will ensure you stay cool in the summer.
Hand-made to order in our Devon workshop – The Exeter has the same fillings on both sides meaning it is a fully turnable mattress.
The Exeter bed mattress is quality assured by our craftspeople and comes with a 10 year warranty.
Like all of our mattresses the Exeter is completely free from chemicals including Fire retardants and spray adhesives. Our products pass the strict UK fire regulations using our patented Cottonsafe® fabric.
If you prefer a softer bed mattress, the Exeter is perfect for you. A great night’s sleep is a given… getting up on time in the morning might not be!

Product Care
The Exeter mattresses is a double-sided mattress, it requires regular flipping and rotating.
It is not uncommon for a small amount of dipping to appear in your mattress or topper where the natural fibres have been compressed . We recommend you flip and rotate your new Exeter mattress weekly for the first 4 – 6 months to allow the fillings to settle evenly across the top surface.
