Best mattress we've ever slept on!

We drove to Devon for a weekend so we could try out the mattresses before we decided. It was well worth the journey! The owner kindly came in on his day off to let us try them and answered all our questions with no pressure. The delivery was well within the promised time and we have absolutely loved our Cottonsafe mattress since day one. Genuinely the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on and my husband agrees it’s simply superb! I’m actually a sleep researcher and am scolding myself for waiting this long to invest in an amazing, sustainable, mattress. The clincher in choosing to buy our mattress here. Is that they are a small, family owned company, using local cotton and wool from farms close to where they’re made.

This is a brilliant company who values great service. Our experience from beginning to end was flawless. We were made to feel important, nothing was too much trouble and the products - with no harsh toxic chemicals- are matchless. We have all had the best nights sleep ever. To anyone wondering where to buy a natural mattress- don’t hesitate to use this company. You won’t be disappointed in their superb products.

Natural

I was hesitant to purchase the mattress online without trying it in a shop, specially with price tag. The excellent reviews however encouraged me to go for it, as I was looking for mattress made only from natural products. I order the firm Appledore, as I prefer firm mattresses. It's not as firm as my previous mattress, but still very comfortable. I prefer it to be slightly firmer than this, as it gives a bit under the body weight. I also prefer more cotton filling than wool. The natural material made my sleep more comfortable, I'm not feeling the bed is too hot anymore. The wool smell was strong at first, I left the mattress to air all day before putting the beddings, the smell gradually faded. The only draw back is that it's recommended to be turned every fortnight for the first four months then once a month, to help the proper distribution of the filling. It's heavy for one person to turn. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase as it has excellent quality and the fact that it's all natural.

Second purchase

I bought this mattress for my younger child as I had already bought one for my older child. The children sleep well on the mattresses and I am happy that it doesn't use chemicals. It is a great mattress and not too expensive. Arrived when expected.

Great choice of sizes, brilliant quality

CottonSafe was the only company I found which offered a non toxic small double size kids mattress which fits on the bottom of the triple sleeper that we got for our daughter. All standard ones offered by other companies were too deep. The mattress is great quality and so comfy. Very happy customers!

Beautifully made COMFY mattress and Great service

I held off buying a mattress because I wanted a natural one and I am so happy with this one. The delivery was great and the mattress is beautiful and so comfy. I just LOVE it. It was well worth the wait and I would recommend the company and the mattress to everyone. In fact I DO! THANK YOU

The Personal touch

The personal touch Jessica went out of her way to arrange the delivery for me as I was having difficulty securing someone to collect my old mattress to coincide with receiving the new one. They also collected an extra single mattress I needed to dispose of. Many Thanks.   Pauline

Just right for adults

At first I bought these pillows for my kids and they were too thick and too firm for them. However, my husband and I decided to give them a go and they are very supportive without being too hard, so just right.
