Comfortable mattress

This is a great mattress. My 6 year old daughter has the narrow kids single one and is happy with it, no problems at all and she has slept well on it from the start a few weeks ago. We put it on a divan base and It's medium firm but still very comfortable as it has enough give. I love that it has no toxic chemicals in it and that it's organic. The mattress protector is also great.

We chose this fabulous mattress and the additional luxury topper to help relieve my painful joint pain. Many thanks to Rebecca for her invaluable advice. The mattress is so incredibly comfortable to the point the only reason we get out of bed on a morning is due to the cat howling for her breakfast.

The Vegan Choice Mattress and Pillows was for use by my wife and she is totally delighted with her purchase. Being a small lady she would have preferred that it was 2" lower, but says the "climb" in, is always worth it.

Great futon mattress

I have slept on it for five nights and I must say I slept very well. It is not too hard, not too soft, just perfect. And it looks pretty on my sofa bed too. But most of all I love the fact it is made of sustainable material, it is not harmful for my family's health and it smells also good. Thanks!

Gorgeous

Brilliant all the way. Service, communication, standard of product! I now have an organic, beautifully cosy and comfortable mattress on my chemical free bed frame. I brought the medium and at first I thought it was too firm & the firmness surprised me but a) it's an adjustment from my old softer mattress & b) I sleep on it amazingly well. No discomfort. Highly recommend this company and their organic cotton safe mattresses.

Absolutely superb experience

We bought one of the Appledore mattresses and wanted to spend time living with it before reviewing. It's been 2 years or more now, and we are really happy with it. Had to change all the duvets, as you get quite warm - you'll need less on the bed. It's so comfortable - sleep is a pleasure. They do smell a bit for a week or two - but that soon wears off - and you begin to realise that for the first time in your life you aren't sleeping on a chemical waste dump, but pure wool. I work a lot with wool in my job working with and insulating old houses - and its an absolute pleasure to be able to buy and sleep on such a lovely product. Can't recommend highly enough - the extra cost is so worthwhile, just in peace of mind alone.

A fabulous shopping & sleeping experience

I'd promised myself when I downsized I would treat myself to a new mattress. I read a Cottonsafe advert some years ago in the Vegan magazine and this was the destination mattress I had my eye on. Being Certified by the Vegan society is a big sway for me, but on reading the description of how this is hand made with great care and after scrolling the lovely reviews this really was a big lure. I am delighted to say that the mattress is beautifully made and dreamy to sleep on. All expectations have come to fruition. I also bought the mattress protector, 2 Vegan pillows with protectors and the pillows are really great for my neck. I always thought of these items as an investment but in fact they are exactly what is needed for a superbly comfortable nights sleep and wish I'd done this years ago. Love all the detail and vegan logos. I plan to buy more pillows for the guest room. Delivery was also excellent. A fabulous shopping and sleeping experience, thank you Cottonsafe.

Vegan Chemical Free Pillow

As an allergy sufferer and like lots of people these days I am looking for products with no nasties in, I asked my family for one of these as a present.   I was a bit worried as I like a medium to firm pillow and these are soft to medium but I shouldn't have worried. Its the best pillow I have ever had, so comfortable, just the right height, no horrible smell like the memory foam ones and no nasty chemicals! The pillow bounces back into shape every day - no lumps and bumps. Delivery was prompt and excellent packaging.   Will definitely be purchasing more. Thank you.
